About Us

At 4:11 Farms, life is simple, hands are busy, and food is made with care. Just 20 minutes from Bowling Green, KY, and 40 minutes from Nashville, we’re a small, family-run farm raising animals and vegetables the right way—no antibiotics, no steroids, no shortcuts.

Our Name
4:11 Farms comes from 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12:
“Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.”

That verse guides everything we do—working with our hands, caring for creation, and providing food families can trust. Every chicken we raise and every vegetable we grow reflects a hands-on, thoughtful process.

Why We Started

We began this journey because we wanted to know exactly where our food comes from and be certain it was raised with integrity and care. Beyond that, we felt a deep conviction to be better stewards of the land and caretakers of what the Lord has created.

As we progressed, we realized there were others who shared our concerns—people who also wanted to know where their food comes from. So we decided to not only produce quality food for ourselves but also for our neighbors. We may not be able to feed the whole world, but we can feed our community. What You’ll Find Here

  • Pasture-Raised Cornish Cross Meat Chickens
  • Fresh Farm Eggs
  • Seasonal Vegetables

Our meat chickens live in mobile shelters on pasture, which we move daily to give them fresh grass and sunshine while keeping them safe. Our laying hens roam on fresh grass within movable fencing that we shift every few days, allowing them to enjoy sunshine and fresh pasture while producing healthier, better-tasting eggs. Our vegetables are grown with care, without harsh chemicals, using only safe, minimal treatments when needed to keep them healthy.
